We now have a new webmaster for our troop, Tommy Y. That’s me. I will be taking over the duties of Webmaster. I will be making more changes to this site, to improve it for the better of the troop. My goal is to update this website and share more things from your troop with you. Thank you for visiting our site and feel free to take a look around. Our new meeting location is at St Felicitas Catholic Church gymnasium, 1650 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA
After 69 years as our Chartering Organization, the San Lorenzo Community Church has had to sell their buildings, and we have found a new sponsor in the congregation of St Felicitas.
We continue to meet at 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday.
For about a year and a half now, Troops 612 and 2612 having been having meeting hosted virtually through the platform of Zoom, but no longer! Tonight, at our usual time of 7:00, our troop will be having a hybrid troop meeting, with some of us still on the usual Zoom, and some of us at the San Lorenzo Community Church. Those of you who are coming in-person, make sure you fill out the forms sent out by Mrs. C with your parents or guardians.
We’re coming up on when Cub Scouts who have earned the Arrow of Light Award crossover to Scouts BSA. This makes is a great time for youth who are new to scouting to join our troop.

Continue reading October camp-inMany troops have simply failed during lockdown, stopping all operations, even as their Scouts continue to get closer to aging out. Not Troops 612 and 2612. We’re continuing to try to advance in the face of the pandemic, and we’re working on figuring out the best ways to replicate the Scouting experience, at home. That’s why we had our campout on the 18th.
Scouting is about youth leadership. In recognition of this, we now have a youth webmaster editing the site, Thomas P. He is available at webmaster@troop612slz.org.
